Farewell, tight lines.

Post by sunshinecoasting »

Well after 13 years of very happy times in my X I have decided to hang up the gloves as it were. I have just sold Entropy and she has gone to a happy new owner. I will miss sailing her very much but my arthritis is nagging me and it's just too much hard work and hurt these days. Thank you all for your input over the years, I will keep a check on the forum from time to time as I still have much knowledge to share if someone asks for it.

Cheers, Dennis.

Hi Dennis. Thanks for your update, except I’m feeling for you. I’m a couple years behind you with perhaps similar issues. Your location on the Sunshine Coast sure sounds nice as we are coming out of another long winter here in Ontario (Canada). Hopefully your new owner will join this site.
If you happen to be nearby, I’ve reserved a prime cockpit helm seat for you. Our main regret about our X is in not having owned it years sooner. Take care Mate!

I suspect I’m about 10 years behind you in terms of hanging up the sailing gloves! I wish you all the best, and I thank you for all the wonderful contributions you’ve made to the forum over the many years. God bless both you and your family.

Cheers,

Dennis,
I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I hope you find something new that you can enjoy at least as much as you have your :macx: . We will miss you.

Please check in often. You represent a great deal of "institutional knowledge" in the practical use of your Mac and we really need to preserve that for future (and present) owners.

You can't go. All the plants are gonna die.

You will be missed. However, your legacy will live on here for others to learn from. Hopefully the new owner will find this forum and learn as well.

Don't be a stranger and stop in and post how life is going.

Hi Sunshinecoasting!

Bye Sunshinecoasting!

Really sorta sad that you’ve sold Entropy but glad that you had a good run with her.
She will miss you I’m sure even as she settles in with her new family at what we all hope will be as caring as you were.
I laud your pragmatism in parting with her while / when it was the right time.
I hope that you continue to keep in touch with the forum and share your thought and opinions.
Diversity of perspectives, experiences and inclusiveness is always a good thing.
Please stay active and happy!
