Many thanks to all who posted about this problem. Just went through it with the BF50A on my 26X and had replaced the impeller, then the water pump body, then the thermostat, then took it all out again and rechecked it, fished out the telltale tube with wire and still had a weak stream. Finally saw Tomfoolery's response and took off the fitting and actually discovered two pieces of my old impeller lodged in the opening. Cleaned it out, started it without the fitting so it could blow out any more junk and then replaced the fitting and hose. Behold!!! Strong stream again!!
