1997 26X boat Manual
Hi all
Does anyone know where I can download a 1997(ish) manual. I have a 2002 manual which covers everything I need but my ballast air intake is not under the V-birth and I want to know how best to drive it...
... Also I am looking for a similar vintage Eninrude manual and a CDI roller furler manual
Cheers
Dave

Hello,
IIRC there is no manual for the early boat. I think the manual was part of the upgrade.
The CDI manual is on their website. If you have trouble finding it, I think I have it on my HD as well as hard copy from when I got my boat. Just PM me and I'll send the file to you. Sorry, I don't have a manual for your motor. Most dealers can order a copy and sometimes you can find one online if you do enough searching.
My Tohatsu manual is a limited resource however, it assumes you already know how to work on an outboard engine and includes only the info that an expert tech would need.
Good luck

I think I"ve got one on another computer. It will take a day or two to get to it. If you are in a big hurry say so and I will scan a page or two of your choice from a hardcopy of the '98 manual. My '98 has the vent in the rear and the old molded one step down for the companionway. Not a lot different than the '97 in most respects.

1997 26X Manual
Hi,
I have a hardcopy of the 1997 26X manual. I was thinking of scanning it and posting an electronic copy a couple of weeks ago, but have not gotten to it. If you still need that copy, I will get the job done tomorrow and post it. This is my first post on this site, except for a mod I posted two weeks ago. But I've been reading the discussion board posts and checking out the mods since getting my Mac 26X last March. This is a fantastic site! I appreciate all of the great instruction, creativity, and humor.

Chuck,
I sent David in AU the sections he needed via private email, but I'm sure future new Mac owners would appreciate your scanning the hardcopy and making it available in the archives. I would, but my methods are primitive and labor intensive so I haven't undertaken to do so.

1996 MacGregor Manual
Well, I see that what I have is a 1996 manual. I will send a PDF copy to Heath for posting in the "Manuals" section of this website. In the interim before Heath gets the copy posted, I will email a copy to anyone interested in a copy for their very own (the copy is 9 MB).
