I have heard that the Sea Cucumbers are around.
Wine is about 2x from the states but hard booze is about the same or less for non-USA made.
Sounds like you are going to be having fun.
If you are looking for out of the way places let me know or If you have fishing buddy's comming. Some places are cheeper than others in the Abacos.

I believe out of the way is exactly my desire. I can do Florida if I want Marina's and Floating Tiki Bars. I wouldn't even have to cross the stream and I could use my brother's pool home on the ICW for free hahahaha.
So Yes James that info would be invaluable.
Not the least of your help would help quit my buddy who is always reminding me we can do this cheaper in Mexico. . .
But I admit I too would rather not get into the Typical Tourist Marina All Inclusive Thing. . . A little more Captain Troy inAdventures In Paradise a lot less Gidget goes Hawaiian

There is some reayy quite places in Fl as I ahve found them.
So far the explorer charts have been very good with their descritions. Your referance point may change with "Towns" being less than 500 people and the "Big Town" being 5000. In the Abacos the main area is 20 miles around Mash Harbor. It starts getting lonely after that. The season does not really start until after Feb 15.
On the West side of Abaco is where it is really lonely. For people who are not Fish Freeks then I would suggest anyplace in Elbow Cay or Treasuare Cay.
Go south if you want 5 to 10 degrees warmer weather. The locals say it has been a warm winter and not as windy. I can use my genoa.
More Pic's nest month.

Yes please a link for the ladder that works on the M with no modifications and actually gets down into the water. And for under $200!James V wrote:2 things that make swimming in the Bahamas much easier.
A ladder with an extra step. Less than $ 200 and you can use the stock mounts. Let me know if you need a link. It will hit the ground on the trailer.
Stern seats or a handle to help you up.
Now James this better not be one of your buddies somewhere selling me a long piece of 3/8" rope and some 1x4's hahahaha

Get one of the dinghy steps for the side of the boat to enter and exit the dinghy. Just hook it on the stern cleat.
