I tried following your recommendation, but Photobucket (and apparently several other, associated companies) insisted on placing a number of cookies in my computer. I don't like companies that insist on placing cookies in my computer, and I particularly don't like getting multiple cookies from companies I know nothing about. (To say nothing of future owners of such companies, along with their cookies, whose policies no one knows anything about.)NiceAft wrote:Open an account with www.Photobucket.com

In any event, does anyone know of another such photoservice that would not require that I accept multiple cookies? I don't insist that the service be free, and I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee.
Thanks,
Jim

You could google "image hosting" and see what you find.Jim Cate wrote:I tried following your recommendation, but Photobucket (and apparently several other, associated companies) insisted on placing a number of cookies in my computer. Photobucket isn't an evil company despite using cookies. I've never heard of bad things about them. Photobucket is convenient because they provide you with the link with one click.
This site uses cookies. Cookies aren't necessarily a bad thing or spyware. They are often a way to keep you logged in or so the host can identify you.
Anyplace that hosts files would work. If you have your own website, you could put them there and link them.
