DaveB, I don't know if it's the same boat, but I got a call from Luke about that same time sailing into Elliott Key and then another call later as he was visiting one of our friends in Cape Coral. However, his X-boat is Dream Chaser. Are you sure about the name?

Dave, Billy got it right:
The name of my boat is "DreamChaser", a 26X. I called Billy as I was on autopilot cruising to Elliot Key.
I believe I passed you as I was heading south to Alabama Jack's, Key largo, as two of you were sailing north toward Elliot Key. I anchored offshore from Gilbert's Resort and Marina, Key Largo on New Years Eve.

Saturday night Rick Eggers (Mental Floss) and I were "cruising" around Cape Coral in his hand-built Ford Cobra--an overpowered street racer. Zero to sixty in four seconds!?
Sunday at 12 noon I was hauling DreamChaser back to Tampa via Veterans and Skyline. I did not see you on your motorcycle. What were you riding?

Luke, what do you mean "overpowered"? I think it's just about right. I need a car that does 180 MPH, cuz I live like 4 miles from work. So I can say "good bye, dear" and zooooom, I'm at work. :D

The last time I sailed Biscayne Bay was in the mid 70's , in a 32 ft sailboat we rented, myself and my girl friend's 2 girl friends tossed the dock lines off and tossed all there clothes below for the week, great memories of my 20's but not what at there age now I would want to see. Do you guys sail with clothes on? or has it changed down there?

So it was you heading a day late to Alabama Jacks. There was 4 MacX heading N. to back to Elliot Key when we went by you.
I was on my full dresser VStar when I saw a white Van towing a macX toward Pine Island Sat around 2 pm.
Rick couldn't do the Homestead cruise because of work.
I cruise often with Rick and Linda and they are both a great couple we always have a great time with.
I heard of his scream machine but reather do it on 2 wheels.
After 5 days cruseing 4-6 knots I have need for speed.
We Monitor Channel 71 when we do the Keys.
