75 V25 trailer

Post by slopchopper »

I am in the process of purchasing a 1975 Mac V25, which is in mint condition, not even a rub mark on her hull, but there is no trailer. Are any of the newer Mac trailers easily adapted to fit this boat?

I have an 80 V25. The trailer is a 20 foot fairly standard boat trailer, with bunk boards only, no rollers. Any boat trailer manufacturer could make you one. There are several here in the gulf coast area, one right here in town.

Thanks Noahvale, I'm somewhat new to the trailerable sailboat wolrd, and wasn't quite sure. Now I have something to work from...thanks again.

get someone on the board to take a few measurements and some photos then get a friend who can weld to help build you one. you can get all the parts from northern tool and all the angle steel from any local steel distributer. Just an idea. I built a custom utility trailer this way. it will cost a little in steel but will save you half to 3/4 what you would pay for one new. I don't know how close you are to this but this is one heck of a steal! http://baltimore.craigslist.org/boa/1145089660.html I just happened to come across it.
