Kids Yacht club DVD recommendations please

I want to donate some DVDs to the CYC for when the kids are stuck inside due to thunderstorms and cant sail - I want the DVDs to have sailing themes of course.

Master and Commander - of course

Nims Island - another great tale

I need 2 or 3 more appropriate for crew age 8-12...

KHE, I highly recommend the Thor Heyerdahl movies. I found a used copy of Swallows and Amazons (1974) on DVD from the series by Arthur Ransome which I wholeheartedly recommend for kids...young and even my 12 year old twins enjoy it.

Yahoo has a 1997 version listed so it may still be available

Update - as of Jan 2008 the BBC was acquiring rights to the 12 S&A tales, so we might see them in new versions soon

At the risk of waving the Union Jack a bit too much, the BBC has a strong track record of doing things like this right, imho.

Just saw, Disney's Swiss Family Robinson - first time I've seen the film all the way through, my 7 year old Son loved it.

it was a lot of fun.
