Yes super car, I had one although not the traveller, but the 'Bowler hat' when I had a job in good old England. I took it all the way to Greece for holidays, we went via France, Italy and back thru former Yougoslavia, Austria, Germany, to Holland. Not a single problem during that trip, only a flat tire. But remember always to carry an extra gallon of motor oil with a Brit car, they all seem to leak a little. Unfortunately I sold the Minor some years ago. I am thinking of getting an old Landrover now for towing the Mac. We have this funny law if the car is older then 25 years you don't have to pay road tax.kmclemore wrote:Wife drives the Morris as her 'around the town' car on nice days... lots of room for groceries and the kid's sports stuff. And we use the Triumph for parades and for the odd evening out

I have a 6'1" slender, lovely, blonde wife who loves to put the rail in the water & greatly appreciates my funding her sailing hobby.
I wouldn't trade her for all the cars and car parts on this thread.

Double Trouble - powered by Brutis (2003 115hp Suzuki)

* Went white water canoeing on honeymoon
* trim the motor up and she'll fly (skip) over water only 3 to 4" deep. Have to be blasting it so she'll plane out. Cool rooster tail!
* I can get past shallows to beautiful upper river spots on the Wisconsin river were few tread. I've thought of selling it for a full enclosure but decided not to. I'll have to fund the enclosure another way.
* Upper river provides sandbar camping and skiing/wakeboarding on calm water.

My old pal Tazmania - Montego 20. Gone but not forgotten. Traded her in for the 26X.

Of course, these are only the toys I keep at my coastal mansion retreat - Prouty Coastal Mansion Retreat:
