Sailing Simulators and PC Games
I am thinking of buying a sailing PC game to kill some bordem time this winter. There are a few sailing simulators on the market. There are also a few of the historic naval games out there. Just wondering if anyone here has tried any of these and/or has any recommedations.

take a look at Pirates
Pirates
Although not a sailing sim. This looks like a promising title to come out in a few days. The sceans from this game are spectacular.

I have had Virtual Sailor for about a year now. I bought it so the kids would know how the wind and waves affect a boat before they went out on a sailboat for the first time, and it worked very well for that purpose. I have used it very little but they use it all the time. There are many geographical areas and boats that have been built by users and are free downloads. Someone even built a Mac 26X, so if you want to see how a mac performes in gale force winds, 50 foot waves or what it looks like next to the Titanic ....
