New Products for Australian Macs

Post by Blue Reef »

Hello Australian members,

For those that may not be aware, Blue Reef Yachts is now an authorised Australian MacGregor dealer. Over the past few months we have been developing some new products that are not available in Australia or are too difficult, or expensive to ship from the US. Thank you to those that have already purchased our products and i hope you are satisfied with them.

On our website are some high res photos, prices and information on our new line of canvas products that we have developed for the M and X. They are locally made (on the Gold Coast) and are the best quality, both workmanship and materials, we could find. We can have them made in any Sunbrella colour. They are more expensive than the US equivalient, however, those that have already seen or purchased our canvas products agree they are the best on the market.

Click here to go straight to our spare parts and accessories page http://www.bluereefyachts.com.au/26mspares.htm

Feel free to give me some feedback on our products; either PM, email or on the public forum.

Cheers,
Cameron

Well done Cameron. All the canvas work looks great. The boat cover looks amazing. How does the dodger cope with lines led aft? Cheers Nick

Thanks Nick, I'm glad you like the look of them.

In regards to the dodger coping with lines led aft, it would depend on where the jammers/clutches etc are located. The lines wont get fouled as the base bar where the press studs attach to is raised about an inch or so off the deck with only 4 mounting points touching the deck. A good feature of the dodger is that you can move it forward or aft a few inches before screwing the mounts to position it to suit what is on your boat. There is plenty of room for adjustment before you permanently fix the 4 mounts. As it is self contained or free standing you can see how it looks, and works before it is installed. This would be more difficult if you had to screw each press stud during installation.

Hope this helps,
Cameron
