pics of my guttend V222

I was motivated by Harts pics of his V222.

In March I sold my Coronado 25 and purchased a new (to me) 1974 V222. It was in really good shape hull wise with a nice sail inventory but the P.O. had put a tarp over the boat (not over the mast) and the tarp had served only to hold moisture in. It sat for 5 years like this and when I got it, it was full of wasp nests, all of the wood was rotten and at least 20 rats had set up home in the boat. All of the foam was chewed up and full of rodent feces etc. So I gutted the boat, removed all deck hardware, ordered some enamel paint, and spent a day in the boat with the pressure washer in one hand and the shopvac in the other (Tim Allen eat your heart out 8) . Here are some pics of the boat right after I removed the interior but before I pressure washed her.

In a few weeks I hope to post new pics with a new interior, new paint, new lights, etc.

Fair winds all,
