Post by BK »

SoCal residents, Minny's annual marine swap meet is June 6th. It is quite an event. No charge for buyers and sellers Is $30.
I weas there today and bought a batten at 25 cents a foot. So 50 cents for a Magregor sail batten. WM charges $15.

Real nice people to deal with. Would love to attend but there are too many miles between us. :( Minnys is a great place to buy as I have bought several items from them over the internet. If are looking for a particular item and you don't see it/can't find it then call and ask them and they will find it. And it has always been at the right price :!:

In case anyone does not know:

Minney's Yacht Surplus is located at:

You know I am a little disappointed in them right now. They were great on my last two purchases. But have emailed them twice about new purchases and have heard nothing :( :x My last email was over two weeks ago. And they have been right on spot about answering emails. Wonder if the old man is sick or they are just off their game :?:

Allison Suzuki Marine accross the street from Minnys has had their parts dept. burned down. I was there on Saturday and they recomended me to another Suzuki dealer on 17th street near Placentia in Costa mesa.
I am looking for a dock step for my X at Minnys this weekend. Has anyone built one?
