Guys,
This is a hoax that shows up on the internet every year or two. If mars is ever as big as the moon in the sky it is because either Earth or Mars is out of their orbit and life as we know on Earth it is about to end. You will still need a telescope to see anything of Mars other a point of light and a pretty big scope and ideal conditions if you want to see any detail.
