hydraulic steering
I have insalled hydraulic steering on my mac x.
have not had it out on the water since.
I installed it because I had my cable steering seize up on the ottawa river heeding up river not long after leving my dock.
It took incredible force to get turned around to get back to dock.
I wanted a more relibable system
.
Is there any one else who has done this type of mod and what are the ramifications.
I cant at this time tell you the make and model of my system but will be home in the next week should anyone express interest in what i have done good or bad.
What I do like is the ability of the system to stay on course where I set my position by wheele
