Quite a few in Mayo just off of the Rhode & West rivers. May have to try another raft up this summer, any takers?

Re: Chesapeakers
Uncle Jim,
I should have König at Casa Rio next weekend...if the weather cooperates. I would definitely like to participate in any sort of Chesapeake Macgregor Gathering.
Cheers,
Jim

Re: Chesapeakers
This is cool,,,, we just got the 2001
over last fall and are looking forward to its launch at Gwynn's Island. We also have family with other sailboats at Point Lookout, so we plan on taking some trips there. Maybe we can meet up with some other Mac owners on our adventures.

Re: Chesapeakers
I (formerly Macless Pete) finally brought the boat from Florida and as of Saturday night it is resting at Casa Rio. We spent a couple of nights in the Gulf near the Stump Pass National park and picked our new aluminum tandem trailer. On the way back we stayed at rv campgrounds were we got a lot of attention for using a sailboat as a camper.
Re: Chesapeakers
We launch out of Ferry Point Marina on the Magothy. If you have never sailed on the Magothy River your missing a real treat. Off the bay just north of the bridge. If the weather will cooperate i.e. give me some 60's, and we'll be out

We're up in Chesapeake City, but would be interested in meeting up within a day's sail.

I'm on Kent Island. Just across the bay from Annapolis. I'm definitely up for a Chesapeake gathering as well. I have my Mainsail at Doyle Annapolis at the moment getting sliders, a reef, and a clew repair, But it should be done in a couple of weeks.
C130 King, I think we work in the same building. I'm on the JS, working in 2C947.

Air Staff A9 -- 4D247. If you want to meet for lunch one day to discuss the Chesapeake sailing area (something I would be interested in learning about)...just drop me a PM or email.dustoff wrote:I'm on Kent Island. I'm still on the hard in Solomons Island waiting to get some repairs done. Our home is the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, which is a looong day of sailing south of Annapolis.

I got in around 4:30pm straight from NC with wife and two very tired toddlers so I left as soon as possible. For now, the boat is in the back with the big sailboats on the hard.
