found a rope with Knot permanetly bound to my hull?
is this standard on all MacGregors ?? i have a rope with a Knot is this YEEE OOOOLLD boat makers MARK!
its a 1990 26D looks cool makes me feel special inside. almost like i have witnesd the lock ness monster. but im thinking i should calm down after all i dident win the lotery but it is nice to discover an OLD tradition if thats what it is any ways. soo any history buffs would like to explain this one
would deffinatly be appriciated. ohh and i compleatly understand that this is something i should have learned in elemetary and im ebarased to ask lol soo keep in mind im a new to this art of capturing wind for pleasure. aka Sailing

it is up front bellow the V berth. if u were to walk up to the v birth and it would be the wall ur knees hit on the other side a 3 or 2 foot rope in a cirquil with a KNOT fiberglassed in.
if we all have one were are they located on the

I have one in my 95 26S also under the v-berth.
Due to the horrendous nature of repairs and mods that were done to my boat, I figured it was some lame repair, as though the PO had held something in place with a piece of rope and just glassed it in...
But now I suspect otherwise!

with that kind of luck u should check the big valve to the deep obysse for any MONALISSAS or maybe a Michalangelo
at any rate one should atleast find a hook and floater in yeee ollld head after a big meal
unless they have a knot or two in there bilge

vizwhiz so u think its a bad REPAIR? sorry vizwhiz im to tierd got nothing maybe if i sleep on it
but it would be to cramped and akward to sleep on the rope with knot
. ill just stick with Catigales story
so i can sleep in comfort

I believe its what the use in the factory to pull the hull out of the mould.

You use blue rope so you don't pull the hull out before the FG sets...its slower of course..
