Poor Mac for sale
We pulled Luna today. Sad indeed. On the way to the ramp I noticed a blue M with mast down. It's been down all summer. Also noticed was the companionway hatch missing and a towel hanging there. Up at the marina store a sign. Mac M for sale $15k.
Pretty cheap for a good Mac with some water inside.

Montanna? About 500 miles SOUTH of where I live ...
Seems like a good deal for anyone looking for a Mac.

Re: Poor Mac for sale
If it's the Mac in the slip I saw, yes, it has a motor. It looks like the boat got abandoned and needs some TLC. I think I'll call the marina and get more details if that's the boat for sale on the flyer I saw.
I remember an "old man" who owned the boat. I hope nothing bad happened to him. This was a nice boat last year. Roller jib and in pretty good shape mostly.

Phil...
So how do you winterize your boat? Just curious - some use a shrink wrap - others a tarp... We don't get the weather in Texas so I just have used a tarp in the past... We do get leaves and "sap" everywhere in fall / spring....

Re: Poor Mac for sale
I started with a tarp, then added to the tarp with a shell around the top of the boat, progressed by adding a lean-to on my garage, and finally enclosed the whole lean-to. It wasn't what I had in mind, but it is what I ended up with.dvideohd wrote:Phil...
