Works good but I leave the iTouch down below mainly its a backup. I do have a anchor alarm app I use all night.

I think the Dual bluetooth GPS should be easier to use

Hi; I don't have the Dual but all you will need to do is to Pair it to the iPod/iPad what I think is better you can leave the GPS in one place and
move your ipod around the boat with ease no need to have a 12v outlet nearby or take them both on land exploring.

Understand someone has sailed a 26X from states to Puerto Rico. Would like to do so and would like to discuss trip with one who has done so.

Hi, got back from another trip to the BVI left Puerto Rico April 23 and returned May 15. Total nautical miles 458 used 49 gallons of gas. Seas were calm and had good winds most of the time. So sailed from one island to another in the BVI all the way to Anegada then most of the way home.
New additions this year 80 watts of solar power, a new dinghy and a Torqueedo motor and a Biq Kahuna for showers. Also made a spray shield for the 100 mile upwind motoring. A highlight of the trip while sailing to the North Sound of Virgin Gorda a girl strapped to a dinghy standing up with a big camera comes by and says "interesting boat" and starts taking pictures. A web site on the dinghy says http://www.yacthshotsBVI.com good thing laundry was took down and motor was up. Met two Macgregor owners.

Here are a few of Yacht Shots pics.
