Re: Zombies Dont Swim
I like where he's coming from but I was thinking something more of a repeating and accuracy weapon. Zombies hate the new Hornady "Zombie Killers" bullets. Perhaps a .50 cal on a deck mounted tripod wouldn't interfere too much with the jib....as long as you keep it low?robbarnes1965 wrote:Somebody already solved the canon mounting issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xH_tnkq7 ... embedded#! Re: Zombies Dont Swim
OK, I'm sorry to dredge this thread up after a couple of months but IT'S JUST TOO STINKIN' FUNNY! LOVED the link to the 'Federal Vampire & Zombie Agency'! Could the story of the 'boat-zombies' be at the root of much of the objectionable 'stink-potter' activity we have to put up with as we sail...?
Personally I think a Gatling cannon modified to take shotgun shells would be the best deck gun in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

I'm glad that you (not unlike the Zombie Virus), resurected the thread!! I thought I had a close call with a zombie attack last week up in the San Juans....turned out I was just driving in a traffic jam through Seattle on the way home.

This sign is at a shop by our marina in VB. My girlfriend was not aware of zombie ways so I was able to have some fun with it.

I'm thinking of getting a pond weed cutter to tow behind my boat. Behead the buggers while I sail, making it safer for all of us Mac users.
