Sailboat: Venture 2-24

I've just finished (hopefully) refitting a nearly totalled 1970 Venture 22 HIN-315. Is there any way to trace the history of the boat through the hull identification number? I found the trace of the name "Airik" on the transom. The boat looks as if it may have been beached recently. Hull was intact and she is sailing again.

Many mods and strengthening. Many design problems addressed. E-mail <[email protected]>

Thee boats could the next classic vintage sailboats, The every mans boat. I think it's cool how they did the hull numbers in the stringer. You don't see that any more. Plus they sail well. Mine a 73.
