OK, OK. The car is my 1949 Triumph, built (by pure coincidence) the same year and month my parents were married. I came along some 7 years later.

As Ray noted, that's from my own wedding about 24 years ago. It was a VERY hot July day, so the ice cream vendor tuxedo was appropriate. Still have the car and as noted it has aged better than I. Grrrr.

Had the car long before the wife... I've owned that car for over 30 years, and it has never been restored... just been well maintained since new.

But no, the tow-car in the family is a 2004 Toyota Sienna. Kinda hard to get a tow hitch for a 1949 car.

Its a Magma party sized marine BBQ (or Grill as our American cousins say). Magma is US made very good quality stuff designed to last forever, but not cheap. Including a Rail mount and charcoal starter, close to $300 from memory (Whitworths and Bias boating). I actually had two and recently sold the other for about $50 on Fleabay. They go on Fleabay quite regularly for about that. Heres one on there at the moment but I think its a gas version

Lots of argument on gas vs charcoal. Charcoal deffinately makes better tasting food, but gas is more of a no fuss no mess option.

That's a gas version (LPG), but I wouldn't want one of the old style where the lid isn't hinged to the base. Too easy to drop over the side. You could add a tether, but it's still not as convenient, and that lid gets plenty hot.

I have the smallest round one (LPG), and it's been great, but it is a little small. There's also a 'party' size, which is a little bigger, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money. Small boat; small grill.

If my guests aren't happy with the speed with which I supply them with food, then they can get their own boat with their own grill.

Yeah, we have the small Magma grill and although I do like it very much, I think that for more than four hungry folks it may be too small. Fortunately for us, 4 is usually all we have aboard.

I'v owned three Magmas. 2 parties and a small one. Small was too small for us, but even the party is too small really, With 4 steaks on it, theres not really room for anything. I like to wrap up in foil a heap of corn cobs, potato chunks, vegies, butter and salt and do it at the same time if possible. (getting hungry thinking about it....)

We are 2 adults and two young children and we can usually get just enough food on there for the 4 of us. Mind you the missus eats like a bloody horse

I havn't had the new hinged version, yeah I imagine it is better, but the other ones do come with a wire tether and clip on the side as in my video. That wire tether only failed on me once. Travelling down the road at about 60mph, the cover got loose from my magma, and the lid blew off. The force of it blowing around in the wind pulled the wire swage apart. The Barby lid landed on the road with nothing but a scratch, (never found the cover though

)
