Lost a few points due to below average construction...for offshore work. No good vhf radio.
No 2nd reef point.

I thought the :macm: reef was the equivalent of reef #2 on the X ? Anyone know?

My :macm: mast is 3' taller than my original :macx: and each reef point on my KH C2000 main is 2' so a double reef on my :macm: mast is equivalent to a 1/2 reef on an :macx: if the :macx: reef is 2'. But I think the first reef on the :macx: might be greater than 2'?

I sail away from the dock double reefed and only shake out my reefs on a predicted low wind day and experience of the crew.

Contemplating adding a 3rd reef :(
