Couldn't view it but good on you for taking the video something I always forget to do, we have some absolutely amazing sailing round OZ but hardly ever see any other macs in our travels but probably will now it looks like ours is sold (tomorrow), going to be some withdrawals for a while.
Got some photo's but it never seems to be urgent thinking it's always going to be there.

Congrats on your sale Bob, but yeah, pretty sure you will regret it

I only saw one other Mac on that Hervey bay trip, but I see them going past here all the time. There must be dozens of them getting about the Gold Coast...

Ouch, That is always sad news...unless accompanied by photos of the next boat of course. I thought about selling mine this winter, for about 20 seconds, forget it!

good luck.

Yeah well Trust Me has a new home and except for the fishing tinny we are boatless, we bought "Trust Me" to keep for five years and had it for eight and in that time we had some great adventures in some really lovely parts of the country (land and water).
Have really enjoyed and got great pleasure from this forum as well as fantastic ideas for mods, not sure whether the new owner is internet savvy but it's a bit painful to even think about the boat at present so will leave it as long as possible before getting in touch unless he needs some help :)
Will probably drop off coming here after a while but will pop in from time to time.
Next adventure or life appears to be another truck but 4wd (Isuzu NPS) carrying a polyboat for fishing (4.5+) and towing a caravan which will make our trips north for the winter a bit more flexible but certainly different to travelling with the :macm: hope we see a few more Macs travelling around Oz be assured if we do we will give them an oi.

Bob, give a serious look at the Hobie Mirage Tandem Island. Can be configured as a two seat fishing boat with pedal drive so you can keep your hands on the rod & reel, can be ordered with a live-well and rod holders. Sails 10+ knots, accommodates two people both of whom can fully control the boat. Possible to cartop if you set it up on a rack with saddles you can purchase. Trivially easy to setup and launch.

Love mine.
