A/C box for Mac26x still being produced (Billy Box)
Chris is still making the "Billy Box" to hold a small a/c. The price is now $300 plus shipping. PM or email me and I will give you his phone number. If Billy is still visiting here, let me say thanks to you for the information of who to call.

Glad to make the connections for you guys and that it all worked out. The a/c box should be available for a while since it's on a CAD program. There are actually two designs. One for the smaller a/c unit (5000 BTU) and one for a larger unit. If anyone else ever desires one, I'll be glad to help them out also. I know you'll enjoy them, especially on those long hot nights!

Now lets see some photos of how you dealt with the A/C plug...
Would like to see how others have dealt with the power issue to the A/C unit and how you fished or his the wires
Before I start installing it would be nice to get some ideas

Are the mods searchable? Seems like there was a great discussion before with photos but the old way of searching is soooo slow.

We finally installed shore power inside with and outlet on the inside of the power panel location. http://www.macgregorsailors.com/modt/in ... ewimg=4019
Our favorite mod. Use it every trip including last weekend in Charleston.

My boat had one installed by the previous owner and I love it.
Even though I don't use it a lot, it adds an extra seat in the cockpit and helps keep the boat ventilated. On those hot nights at a dock (or if you have a portable gen on board) it makes sleeping nicer.
