I appreciate the links and I’m usually pretty good at figuring these things out, but no matter what I tried I couldn’t get either link to work. Can someone else help or can you let me know how you searched so that I can repeat how you got these links?

Thanks…Jeff

You need stainless steel bolts.
That's a rust bucket.
Double spring Stainless Steel bracket will hold a 25hp outboard and drop down 11 inches.

Hope to be to the boatyard mid Jan., still in Utah until then. The trailer looks like quite the project and you are doing a good job on it. Enjoy the retirement and maybe we can hook up this time when I'm down there,

Thanks for finding that. I've printed it and I'll put it in my file. I hope my cylinder never goes out! Not only was it really expensive, looks like it’s no longer available.

There's a better than strong chance that it's not custom, so a replacement may be available through other means. End connections, bore, stroke, and precharge or force (at some point in its stroke) can be matched, or gotten close to at least.

Sumner,
I have a 4 day stay at Oscar Scherer Camp Site in Venice Dec.19-23.
Camper will have all cabinets installed and this trip will include 2 12ft kayak's, inflatable Kodiak with 2.5 Suzuki and 30 thrust motor along with twin trail bikes.
Also added twin 200 watt heaters but may only use one. (great low watt heaters, Lasko 100 series) Great for the Mac's to.
Cost was about $12 each and great amount of ceramic forced air that I think puts out more than a 1000 watt heater.
Any 250 watt converter powers these.
PS: I did go up there to the Boatyard 4-5 yrs ago and also that club on right side and asked were to find you but no sign of Tartan37 in boat yard or you in club.
So close but far away, next time.
Dave

Have I made a mistake on Christmas day?.....

Saw a local add (post up last night) for a good looking 3.3 Mariner going cheap ... I was keen and the seller was keen but had already had a few inquiries. So not wanting to miss out I dashed out, in a Christmas morning rush and bought it . Got it home and then realised it's only a 15" Shaft :( ... Do I need a long shaft?....Have I shot myself in the foot!!! :?

It can work.

While I'm not familiar with the transom arrangement for a levering outboard mount on an :macm: , I am sure it can be used correctly & effectively + as the motor for your dink
