Bimini, Dry Tortugas, and other open water in Classics

So I keep reading about Bahamas trips, and we have some friends that regularly take their big trawler down to the Dry Tortugas. And we know that Sumner has taken Kera Jane over to the Bahamas... So how many other D and S boats have made those kinds of open water crossing trips of close to 100 miles or even more? The admiral is going to take some convincing. We're nowhere near ready to go, but I was trying to get an idea of how many with the lighter boats and smaller motors have done something like that?
