Okay

Got my fenders off, tired of lugging 100 lbs of steel rotting away

Tie down fenders , very nice , but $33 online plus mega shipping .....$65 per fender

Or go to west marine and get then for $65 per fender

Or...

Lowe’s window well...shape industries at $26 less 10% for fighting the dinosaurs and the Communists

:D

That's nothing compared with the economy version fender I crossed the border into Mexico with, while heading for the Sea of Cortez. I hit a mammoth pothole on I-5 in the Sacramento Valley while heading south. The shock broke the fender weld and a short while later, the whole thing fell off. Before crossing the border, I bolted the plastic lid to a 5 gallon bucket into position, behind the tire, to provide a bit of protection from flying gravel for cars following behind me. Since I had foolishly hooked the tie down strap to the handy fender bracket, instead of catching it on the trailer frame, I probably was contributary to the break, however, I didn't share that detail with the insurance company.

Brilliant!

Great way to avoid the boat tax.
