No, I haven't even been to mainland Europe, Just the UK in 2006, but I followed Magic Carpet videos all summer as they headed north from the Med to the Netherlands. It is a fascinating journey, and she is an excellent musician which adds value to the videos. Her husband is an accomplished boat technician and knows his stuff, too. When they start bucking the current going up stream on major rivers with a minimal little diesel, I really did wonder about how much better a 26X or M would handle that. Really recommend following Magic Carpet. The couple on Sailing Uma are excellent sailors and DIY types, too.

Several years ago there was a thread from an owner (I don't remember which owner or X or M) who cruised his Mac down the Danube. The photos were nice.

I just used the north sea channel. Goes from Amsterdam to the north sea.
Just on the way from the ijsselmeer to the north sea an then to the wadden sea... Great trip!

I also followed Magic Carpet's adventures since they went up from the Med to the Netherlands. Which is were I live actually. They are currently working on a new boat and Magic Carpet I is stored in a boat yard not far from here. They inspired me to consider taking my
to the Black Sea via the Rhine and the Danube, but the admiral thinks our boat is too small for such a long trip. I consider it a challenge to do things not many think a Mac can do, so it may eventually happen one day.

I do recall reading or watching something quite a while back about some folks getting a 26X and pulling the mast just to cruise French canals. I thought I vaguely remembered them being British, but it may well have been these nice French folks:

I liked that, thanks.
As to the audio, nice Spanish music. I smiled when the sound of corks popping was timed to lunch
