Transom Shower Water inlet/pump
Just wondering...
With the original 26M transom shower, I know where it is located ..
But where is the pump located? Where is the water inlet located?
Anyone have photos of all that??

Re: Transom Shower Water inlet/pump
i have a wash down pump installed in mine but u could use it as a shower also
I already had installed an 8" deck plate one on each side of my eng. well
so I removed it to give access to that location & installed my pump & hose connector there
I then cut an 8" round hole down in the aft bunk liner to give me access from underneath also
installed this self priming pump u can see my bilge vent fan mounted just above it
installed water pick up in transom
bought a 10" matching cover to cover the hole in the liner in the aft bunk I found these matching liner covers at a marine flea mrkt so I bought a whole bunch of them & used them all over the boat to cover all the liner access holes so as they look like factory install as they match the line colour
Attached a line with a screen filter at transom pick up & another line from the filter to below the water line
if u click on this pic u can enlarge the pic switch for thr pump is on my pedestal
hose attachment
hope this is what u r looking for ?

Re: Transom Shower Water inlet/pump
Washdown pumps were not a factory option. So it is a custom install.
The most likely location for the pump is behind the aft bunk. Once you identify the pump, you can trace it to the inlet.
I hate holes in the bottom of the boat so my intake is a hose that I toss over when needed.

Good point .. I too would be nervous installing anything below water line.
I like the idea of a elbow.. and when you need to you attach a hose/etc.
Now I will have to crawl around my berth and try to figure out a solution..
Another summer project ..
thanks for all the photos!

Here's a link to my seawater washdown pump.

Some have plumbed their freshwater tank to a cockpit shower.

Did you have to adjust weight in boat after installation? I have about same weight motor as you, I need more weight up front. Mine is a 75+ model

Re: Transom Shower Water inlet/pump
nope but I don't have a 10" or 12" jackplate on my mount
I f I was going to do that I,d go with an extended swim platform eng mount which actually extends the hull length from these guys
https://www.armstrongnautical.com/armstrong-brackets/
It not only extends the hull but also adds more floatation to the stern
