BWYachts?

Post by Duquette5 »

Has anyone had luck getting in touch with BWYachts lately? I've been trying to follow up on an outstanding order (almost 3 months) for a couple weeks. No one answers the phone and I'm getting no response to emails sent to [email protected]. Hope everything is ok with Todd and company.

I just heard from "Todd" at that email 3 weeks ago.

I emailed Todd at BWY Tuesday at [email protected] about a mainsheet traveler I ordered back in October 2021. He got right back to me with a response. He always has in the past.

Contacted him late last night (East Coast time) with a question before placing an order, found the answer this morning and placed the order. Five stars out of five.

I was at their shop in person around Christmas and recall they were going to be doing some extended cruising this year.

Don’t know about them cruising or a vacation holiday but we just ordered a new keel hinge and pin for our Mac26X on-line last week and it arrived to us a couple of days earlier than anticipated.

Yes, BWY has been and is a full 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 place for us. 👍👍

Best Regards

UPDATE: My parts have shipped!

In the past I've had outstanding service from BWYachts. The past couple of emails I sent to orders@ never got a response. I tried the accessories@ as suggested and Todd replied right away. To boot he admitted he had forgotten to follow up on my order and has shipped it out. I like when someone is able to own up to a mistake and make it right.

BWY is a first-rate outfit.

I bought my boat from them and all their rigging (cruising package) was first rate.

Glad you got a response from Todd. They are a valuable resource to the Mac community and it's nice to hear positive results.

I recall a time not long ago that Todd would chat with me I was out sailing one day, and that he was very generous with his time on many occasions.

I am experiencing the same - emails not answered - and I guess they are dealing with the things that beset almost all family businesses, and that everyone there is stretched a little thin.

Still, as Russ says, a first-rate outfit. With all the challenges, I am just glad they are there.
