Re: New Banner for home page
If you take the w3-animate-fading class out if the IMG tag it should stop the image from fading in/out every 10 seconds.

Hmmmm.. interesting. Perhaps those images need to be optimized for faster download.Be Free wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 11:44 am I'll take a look at it and see what can be done. I'll be working blind though. The only Internet connection here is HughesNet and the slide show changes for me before any of the pictures finish downloading. I've seen the top third of a lot of pretty pictures.

It's a satellite thing. Everything is slow.Russ wrote: ↑Sun Oct 09, 2022 12:16 pmHmmmm.. interesting. If no one else is having an issue don't worry about it. My little fishing village will have fiber early next year and I'm already signed up.

Yea, I've heard Satelite is painful and the latency is really bad.
What about Starlink? We have the option for cable, DSL and fiber but my neighbor went with Starlink. It seems too pricey for me.
Welp, thanks for all those wonderful images that you uploaded so slowly. REALLY REALLY NICE! I've got them all in a folder and will add a bunch to the banner.

StarLink would be much better that Hughes but it's also not available in this area (yet). We were on the waiting list for it until fiber became available. The expected delivery date for both is about the same but fiber is much faster and has other technical advantages that both satellite services share that I'm currently having to work around.
