I guess I should have been more clear. I’m too lazy to cut the stuff myself. But if someone has a CNC jig for the macs, they could probably sell hundreds of sets made with the cheaper Asian import material. One good trick wouid be to match the adhesive longevity with the foams. If it came up pretty easy once the foam needed to be replaced, and the new panels could be installed in an hour, I think it’d be popular.

Pieces pre-cut with some curves to match the deck would be a plus for many captains.

How does that product hold up over time? And is it easy to clean? The factory anti-skid catches dirt and holds onto it.

Well.... I do have a CNC router in the basement. I can currently do 4' x 6 ' x 6" I am in the process of doing some maintenance and upgrades so it'll be down for about a month. was also planning on sizing it down to 4' x 3' x 6" to save some workspace in the basement. I built this because, well to be honest I like to build things that make things. I have the cnc, multiple 3d printers and a CO2 laser cutter. I would have to experiment with the EVA foam but what research I have done shows that with the right cutting and finishing bits I could do it. Here's an example of my latest work on the cnc. It took about 3 hours of carving and an hour of hand finishing. It's Olivewood and measures out at roughly 12" x 5" and around 2" thick.

My boats deck gets trashed, I got two dogs, I go on salvage expeditions, beach combing, and it stays uncovered all year. Id love to have a cheap easy covering I could just toss when it gets dirty or shredded.
