It just goes to prove a point that my wife always makes when I say, "the boat will be great for the kids". Her response is always something like, "ya all THREE of mine". The problem is that we only have two kids.
Great to see the "secrete life" Mark and see that it still revolves around family.
Randy, could it be a bad sign that two new blogs have caused their site to crash...
...Better create those stories in word first and save them, same with photos.

So if you guys like blogs and don't want to get into coding, there are lots of options to have no coding personal websites, with blogs, forums, etc. without doing coding. Here is an example:

Here is a free tool you can download and manage your blog on you PC and it will load up to the blog site for you. It appears that there are numerous tool like this that use some blog protocol for uploading.

"This simple XML-RPC client tool can post, publish, edit, and delete text on Weblogs managed by Blogger, b2, MovableType, Nucleus, BigBlogTool, and BlogWorks XML, or to any other blog tool or service that supports Blogger API. It has an intuitive Office-like interface, and you can preview the post before sending it to the server."
Here is one that cost $30

Blogs are a good thing. This site is a core gathering place for Macaddicts, and blogs are a natural extension to share your adventures.
Keeping mods on MacGregorSailors.com exclusivily would be the best way to go. I would hate to search 50 blogs for relevant Mac info. Heath has Mac Central and this site is worth a million. We need to keep it that way. Blogs can chronicle personal adventures. The two should not compete.
Unless of course Heath would like to add a blog capability on this site during the upcoming winter months.... hint hint.

It is growing fast but up to now it still has the sleepy dairy community charm. With a short commute on the Interstate, I can get away from the big city.Daves_knot_here wrote:Mark,
Years ago we lived in Lodi, WI. over on hwy K. Your blog site brought back quite a few memories. Is Lodi now a bustling suburb or still a sleepy dairy community?
