MacGregor 22 rebuild

Hi all the way from a tiny island off the UK.

I recently acquired a beautiful Macgregor 22 and am in the process of trying to renovate her. The problem is, I'm not sure what I'm working with and how much is original.

As a backstory, a London sailing school found her abandoned in a field, took her back and she became the schools renovation project, so a bunch of 12-18 year olds fixed her up. She was then sold and then sold again and then again and finally ended up with me.

Currently there is no rudder, at least where I guess there would be one. Also, the pop hood pops up but it folds out and slides all the way into the seating area at the stern which I'm guessing is completely off. Is it meant to have some kind of support that it rests upon when it's opened? We literally just have the two metal beams running along the underside of the pop roof.

We also have wood that's been attached to the roof that seems to serve zero purpose. We have a bunch of holes drilled all around that just had screws sat in them and duct tape placed over them.

There's no features inside, no table, no toilets area, no dividing wall. Does anyone know if it's meant to have it?

It's very hard to find schematics for anything for this boat over here in the UK let alone parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As mentioned above, perhaps start with downloading from the resources section all you can find.
