Did you ever market this?

The price and the ugly donut for the wheel has kept me from buying an AP although I really really want one.

Got busy in life and didn't have time to finish it up for production. Figured nobody would pay cost near double the $600.

Agreed. I refuse to put one of those donuts on my wheel.

Your system seems superior. I'm sad I didn't get in on it. I really want an AP

I still enjoy BOATS tiller raymarine ev100-AP installed down in the cabin.

When the donut is combined with a steering knob like this one, there's zero negative effects from the donut. Once you install the knob, that's all you'll use when docking, and when cruising the donut is not a problem. The knob is also a great visual indicator of center. https://www.amazon.ca/Stainless-Steel-S ... 3RJT1&th=1.

Come to think of it I shoulda put the steering knob in the best-mod-for-least money thread. It's a game-changer when docking, and serves as a visual indicator of center.

Nice. I may have to get one. An inexpensive mod.

I fully agree with Ix. Water people are used to holding their breath, but this was a tad too long.

Agreed. One of the things that seem nice about Vic's system is no ugly donut on the wheel. If it works well, I bet captains would pay more for a superior product.
