Unexpected Event

Post by Be Free »

I got a note from ris (Richard) on Sunday to let me know they would be passing by on their way home and asking about highway conditions in this area (they are fine). I told him he was going to be less than 10 miles from me when he came through and invited him and Jill to stop by. A phone call later and we changed a quick visit to an overnight stay!

I got a tour of his one-of-a-kind travel trailer and he got to see how I utilized the shore power, radio, and electrical components he generously gave me a few years ago. While we were "kicking tires" our wives were swapping stories. It turns out that we have a lot of life experiences (and several friends) in common!

Welcome back from your latest adventure.

Bill enjoyed our visit. It was a great time. Sad to see Steinhatchee all tore up by the hurricane, but glad your place was fine. Just about finished with all the debris from the hurricane in our yard from trees.
When we finish that we will start getting the Jill Kristy ready for this winter and our trip to Canada next summer.

Nice.

Richard is wearing a Yellowstone Park t-shirt. So he was in my backyard and didn't look us up. :(

Great to see everyone safe after the hurricanes.
