2025 Mid-Atlantic MacGregor Mid-Winter "Gathering of the Faithful"

Post by kmclemore »

As our boats go into storage here in the northern climates, our thoughts move once again to planning our annual Philadelphia-area get-together of MacGregor & Tattoo folks.

Ray and I have discussed the venue, and it seems everyone has liked the place we've chosen in the past. It offers a wide selection of foods that accommodates most dietary restrictions, it's at a central location near several major north/south & east/west highways, and it's located close to a number of great hotels and motels.

As such, we're proposing the following time, date & venue:

DETAILS ON THE MACGREGOR / TATTOO MID-WINTER GATHERING OF THE FAITHFUL:

CLICK HERE TO RSVP --> https://tinyurl.com/MacGregorDinner2025 <--

DATE: Saturday, January 18, 2025

TIME: 6:00 PM

VENUE: Maggiano's Little Italy
ADDRESS: 160 Mall Boulevard, King of Prussia, PA
LINK TO MAP: https://goo.gl/maps/vsb967RY7Y65mCPR7

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Anyone who owns, loves or just wants to gather and share camaraderie related to MacGregor & Tattoo boats.

Thanks for the great response folks! The venue will take 12 folks, and we’re up to 10 right now, so we have room for two more and then I have to close it off. Sign up now!

Oh, if it were held someplace warm without snow I'd be really tempted to make the journey. Will have to live vicariously.

Russ,

(A) Compared to Montana, we are warm.
(b) We just don’t get snow any more, :( and what we get, you would think of as a sneeze.

Come join us. We need another couple.

Yeah, Russ, the odds of having snow here at that time of year are nil. If it snows at all, it usually comes in February or March. And if you do come, we’d be glad you put up at our place. We’ve got plenty of room, and it would be great to see you.

OK, folks - we're fully subscribed and can take no more attendees. If you do want to attend, however, you can still submit an RSVP and I'll put you on the wait list in case someone decides to withdraw. I'm looking forward to see all who replied!

Cheers,

You need to reserve at a bigger place Capt.

If you build it, they will come…

I’ll see what I can do in terms of reserving a larger place. The issue with reserving a larger place however, is that we may not be able to sit at the same table. As a result, I think I may have to put something together where we all shift seats halfway through the event so that we get to know each better.
