1996 Mac 26X Registration plate.

I can't locate this plate. It's the one referenced as "required by the Coast Guard" that contains boat number and occupancy limit.

When I registered my boat in Iowa, they wanted to know the occupancy. I suppose it is "OR" (Operator's Responsibility).

Can anyone enlighten me?

The boat's serial number is on a brass tag on the transom. On the M's it is on the starboard side.

There is no occupancy posted limit on boats over some length, which both the X and M are...
