The only issue with these AI videos (and AI everything else) that are flooding the internet is that you just can’t really trust them.

Around the 1:38 mark the video claims that $110k is less than the average new car price in “today’s” dollars. According to some more reliable sources the actual average new vehicle price in 2025 was slightly above (Forbes) or below (KBB) $50k. I stopped watching at that point. It’s a shame, because I’m genuinely interested in the topic, but it feels like why bother when anything you might learn is liable to be completely false? And that feeling tinges all AI content.

Of course humans make mistakes and lie also. But they are generally at least trying, and usually only writing/talking about topics that interest them, which makes them interested in the truth. AI is generating BS is it’s purest form.

Sorry to be a downer.
