A Beautiful SIGHT...

Post by LOUIS B HOLUB »

:) ... 1st matie and I watched the CHANNEL to the BAY at the FAMOUS BOARDWALK site here in KEMAH, TEXAS over the WEEKEND...the PARADES of BOATS were awesome...folks happy, motoring in and out of the GALVESTON BAY...smiling, waving, etc. All the colorful array of boat decorations were beautiful & festive :!: The nice weather brought folks out this weekend...I was only wishing my MAC was on the WATER. Amazing how many FOLKs sail with their DOGS. I saw Terriers, Spaniels, Labs, a Jack Russel Terrier, and others of Mix Breed, playing and running on boat decks. Seems that more and more folks are taking FIDO out for a SAIL these days. OURS always goes with us. DOGS love SAILING, RIGHT :?: Hundreds of folks seated on the BOARDWALK watching this scenery was NICE :!: VERY NICE indeed :!: WISH youall couldve seen IT :!:

Great Weekend!

13 people on the Mac for the Parade...definitely the last time I will have that many people on board, but everyone had PFD's on and had a great time: 6 in cockpit, 2 on cabin top, 3 on fordeck top, and 2 standing in V-berth with body out of hatch! I did have an incident where I gently was rubbing the sand when I got too close to the beach...but all in all a great time!

Rich,
I thought that was you out there. Nice job on your boat. I didn't recognize you. I saw it was an M but didn't see the USS Enterprise on the side. Heck of a parade.

With the lake frozen over, I guess I could go to the storage lot and string lights on the boat. :(
