Coleman 12 V wet/dry vac and inflator - 10 bucks

Post by craiglaforce »

Just bought one at Walmart. Looks like just the thing for the boat. small, 12V, multi-use and it has a new kind of filter that you can leave in place for wet vac operation. Also has a couple of nozzles for inflating rafts. Of course you will have to top up the pressure but at least it does the bulk inflation part. They were back in the auto accessories aisle on the end cap.

I agree. I wrote the post before trying it. Good points are that it is pretty quiet and compact. works fine for dry pickup but I doubt it would work picking up water.
Thanks

We just carry a 1 Gal 110v shopvac. With the shorepower plugged in the short cord reaches anywhere on the boat. Works great for getting the last few drops of water out of the bilges.
