We have been testing the latest invention by Roger MacGregor. It is a huge
spinnaker flying from a retracting aluminum pole with 5 extra feet of J
dimension. This will make you fly on a reach. It will gybe through as much as 180
degrees. Roger has taken enough photos of the M sailing in Newport beach,
maybe he'll put them on his web sight soon. I'll be racing my M in the MDR to
San Diego race July 4th weekend with the new sninnaker. We also have photos of
my M sailing in Marina del Rey in very light breeze yet showing some speed.

This can be retro-fitted to any MacGregors with hand tools. You really want
