I sent Capt Mike an e-mail on the subject and here is the response:
Hi,
Available now! We have just sold our first one. It works very well on the standard Mac mainsail with just a slight change, full bottom batten.
Mike Inmon
I have requested further info and will post when recieved.

Here is the video from Inmon Yachts website linked under "NEW! Now Delivering the new Roller Reefing Main!" It looks like a boom roller.

Self tacking jibs are eazy to set up. However they have drawbacks. Ive found that they never set 100 percent correct and on one tack you may have to tweak the sheet. Then you have the jib boom and horse (the bar or track that the block for the single sheet line rides on) cluttering up the deck. You also are kind of stuck with one jib although it can be set up to be reefed just like a main sail. If you need to switch out to a smaller or larger jib the self tacking equipment can't be used. I had the self tacking jib on the v222 with the reefing as well. But for best performance in windy weather you need The right size jib set and trimmed well. It can't be marginal and that is what I seemed to get with the self tacking set up.
I don't find trimming the regular jib that much of a problem.
For lazy sailing I usually find the main without the jib is ok. Makes coming about tricky though.
The factory hank on jib is too large imho for more then 18 k of wind. I have a smaller jib with a higher cut clew that I really really like. This is very easy to manage.

This is actually something I really wanted to try and I recently found this article (which speaks my lanauage :D ) https://stingysailor.com/2016/08/13/how ... nt-page-1/ .... But I really can't see the point of having a sail that doesn't work well downwind :|
