2001 X, moored at home on Lake Harding, AL/GA

Just sanded & repainted bottom, added another battery w/switch, new canvas and a topping lift. Am now broke. But, I take a cup of coffee and sit in the cockpit many mornings and have decided it was definitely worth it. 8)

My profile info is to the right, I live in Colorado but love sailing in the San Juan’s. To date I have made 5 trips around the islands totalling over 1500 miles. I should point out I spend a few months (working holiday) at a time when I am there.

So we have reached 5057 in members (very impressive to me). I wonder if this post will grow to 300 plus pages.

Steve did you literally sail from Monterey Bay to the Puget Sound or several places along the way? If so I would love to hear about the trip.

No I have sailed and motored in monterey bay... so much sea life. I even got chewed out by a sea otter for getting too close
then I trailored to Clear lake in California . Spent some quality time there and I have been to the Puget sound twice. But I will go there a lot more in the future . But for the most part I just spend time on the local lakes and rivers Steve

Slipped on Lake Hartwell, GA. Had it out on 2/26/09, but spent the day dodging submerged trees. Man, do we need rain....lake still down 15'. And yes, it still lists to port! :D :? :?

2005 26M. Rapid City, SD. Haven't decided what to do this year. Might slip it on Lake Angostura. Would like to trailer to Lake Oahe or Francis Case (both on the Missouri) for a week.

Hi Y'all 8) been a while since on the site, business and travels occupied our time the last few months. We have an '08 :macm: , and sail out of ORIENTAL, NC.
