I met up with them. Great couple! The boat/trailer washing station was great...the undercarriage upside down shower coming out of the whole pad was over the top cool! I have videos of it and will add it in along with links to their info when I weave together my Southport Cape Fear videos from this trip!

Southport Sail 2014 few random pics continued...

Galactica following Syzygy on a tack. We sailed when we could, power-sailed when necessary and motored when we had to.

Possibly an inappropriate number of us piled into Stormwalker for a short early morning motor to Pleasure island to make a doughnut run for famous Britt's donuts! :P

StormWalker, XX (Doublecross) and Knot Shore, half the SPS2014 mac fleet seen from Galactica as they position to head south while Galactica continues to the inlet to sail north! Bon Voyage folks!
Image

View from Galactica's helm as we had a spectacular sail on the North Carolina coast about 4 miles from shore going from the Carolina Beach inlet up to the Masonborro inlet! This is our second sail on the ocean and our first solo sail on the big water! :D 8)
Image

SouthPort Marina, Friday night. Three BLUES! Galactica, Boom Boom II & Storm Walker! 8) It was a blast seeing boats in person that I've seen pictures of online! We checked out the various mods took notes and enjoyed meeting everyone! Folks, Boom Boom II has some great mods, we've seen some of their ideas but in person, the craftsmanship is extremely well done!

In my other thread, Cptron had indicated he was considering May.

You know, we could get a local Mac get toghether one weekend anytime soon.

Right now, I know 3 other Macs in our area plus yourself.

Maybe a BHI run in March?

Hailing Capt. Ron!
Do you have dates for this year? Knot Shore is ready depending on the dates.

We won't be able to make it this year. It's winter so I have been putting together videos from last summer. I've finished my two videos from last year's Southport sail. We enjoyed it quite a bit!

Yes I will be putting together a Southport Sail. I am planning on calling the city dock today in order to find out a date that we can get.
I promise I will post again as soon as I find something out.

Update, still looking into dates.
Any suggestions from you would help. Looking at sometime end of April or beginning of May.
