Hi team,
Could it be possible that you have an issue with the antenna? If the radio you have is equip with a CD player, check if it the same with the CD player. If you have the same defect with the CD than I will look to power supply (connection). If no change with CD player than you should suspect something with the antenna. define where your radio is located and which equipment is closer to it that could be a potential of interference. Look for the antenna installation.
Since your problem is on water and disappear on the trailer, you should be able to define at which exact point is the threshold when you move your sailboat in water if you do it with the music playing. You should identify when the music change what you are doing like raising the mast or any specific action.
Let us know what you find.
