Graham:

I believe you saw me pulling 'Pacific Star II' over the pass. When I saw you we waved. We were headed to Port Townsend.

Cheers,
Jesse

Hello:
I emailed my brother about fees at Cap Sante. He paid $50 bucks for the sling and parking was $30.00 for two weeks and you can park longer than two weeks if you want. Keep in mind he's a powerboater so maybe fees run different depending on the size & weight etc.

Thanks for all the great advice. Washington Park on a Saturday last August was totally full with no place to park. I think I'll try Cap Sante this year.

I have reservations at Deer Harbor for the week. My wife does not like staying on board overnight so we are staying on shore on Orcas island. (We're taking two cars).

Hi Jesse
I was towing Pauka 2 with a Red Ford 150, extended cab long bed truck. Not sure if you could tell but I had a yellow job box behind the cab and behind that was a white box. This was last Friday 7/30/04. I think it was about 8:30 am or so. The first rig to pass me I think was a red truck and the second I believe was a dark Suburban. Was this you? If so it was great almost meeting you!
Sounds like the lift cost is kind of like lets make a deal. :?

Must have been a lot of Xs on the road that day. We were towing with a white GMC Sonoma extended cab 4x4. But I thought the gent I waved at was driving a red truck???

Hey everyone else: Beverly (first mate) is going to call Cap Sante tomorrow and get the straight scoop on the two lifts and parking. I'll post what she finds out.

16 days and counting till launch.

Maybe it was white, Im not sure. I was just excited to see an X going down the road. Do the time frames jive? I left Sedro-Woolley at about 5:30 AM on Friday. It takes about 2 hours to get half way up the pass, depending on traffic. So it would have been about 8 AM.

First Trip

How's this for the first trip, for a 26M - California to Massachusetts to Wisconsin to Virginia.
When I have new boats shipped, they go from California to Chicago by train, and then are trucked to my shop in Wisconsin.
For some reason my last two boats were not taken off the train in Chicago, and continued on to Mass. They were then shipped back to Chicago and trucked to my place. The customer from Virginia picked up his boat and trailered it home. His new 26M has over 4,000 miles under its hull and still hasn't been in the water.
