We can upgrade your hull to non-translucent for 500 USD (with lots of duct tape - blue of course)

If you just copy and paste, the quote comes up as regular type with (quote). If it is done correctly the quote will be in a beige highlighted box. I assume there is a good reason (to avoid confusion

). Not a big deal

except more work for ObiWan,and he has enough it seems with his Brit Motorworks

and his

. I still haven't mastered the quote thing.

Sometimes it comes out right, sometimes not. I know now to preview until it looks right but still can't get quote to work always.

I just tried to put your question as quote and it's not right

so I will leave it out. With time I hope to figure it out.

Quoting is dead easy, guys. Just click the
"Quote button up there on the right of the entry you want to quote... It will then automatically take the full text of the person's posting and put it into a set of brackets in your new posting. If you then want to edit that quote so it only contains a few of the person's statements, the important part is to make sure of 2 things -
1 - The quote must start with a [ quote="NAME"] statement, and that statement must begin with an opening bracket, then have the word 'quote', followed by an equals-sign (=), and then the name of the person being quoted in double-quotes ("), followed by a closing bracket. No spaces are allowed (but note that I had to put in a space in the beginning of the sample above to prevent it from actually quoting!).
2- The quote must end with a closing statement
and again, no spaces are allowed, and note the direction of the slash (/).
Follow the quote with your response. So, if I were to respond to only a portion of your quote, it might look like this:
Code: Select all
Not a big deal :?: except more work for ObiWan, and he has enough it seems with his Brit Motorworks :P and his :macx:.
I certainly do!
Which then looks like this:

and his

.
It certainly is!

Does that mean that if you have the interior lights on and don't have interior carpet you will be giving those outside an X-rated show

2BonC -
It means that the quote you made did not display correctly, and Kevin, as a Moderator, fixed the code to make it display as intended.
