Quoting is dead easy, guys. Just click the "Quote button up there on the right of the entry you want to quote... It will then automatically take the full text of the person's posting and put it into a set of brackets in your new posting. If you then want to edit that quote so it only contains a few of the person's statements, the important part is to make sure of 2 things -

1 - The quote must start with a [ quote="NAME"] statement, and that statement must begin with an opening bracket, then have the word 'quote', followed by an equals-sign (=), and then the name of the person being quoted in double-quotes ("), followed by a closing bracket. No spaces are allowed (but note that I had to put in a space in the beginning of the sample above to prevent it from actually quoting!).

2- The quote must end with a closing statement [/quote] and again, no spaces are allowed, and note the direction of the slash (/).

Follow the quote with your response. So, if I were to respond to only a portion of your quote, it might look like this:

Does that mean that if you have the interior lights on and don't have interior carpet you will be giving those outside an X-rated show

It means that the quote you made did not display correctly, and Kevin, as a Moderator, fixed the code to make it display as intended.
