I am sure one of the techno-geeks will chime in with the technicalities but the issue is how long it takes the page to open or finish if there are a lot of pics. Some folks still have slow connections...is dial-up still available?

I guess that I missed this thread while in Mexico. Yes, the issue is not bandwidth on the forum server, rather loading time for users that are on slower connections, or using mobile devices. I often check in on the forum from my smart phone and am rarely in 3G coverage areas, so loading times can be painful. For those of you that want to put projects with lots of photos on the website, look into posting them under Exploring, or articles. These areas can be found under the Features section at the top of the page.
